Hi Guys,
I was basking in the rare heatwave that had embraced London with full force when I wore this particular look. I wanted to share this as it is was a light summer outfit but it kept me covered without damaging the skin from harmful UVA & UVB rays. It was more on the ‘modest’ side as I deliberately made it that way as I didn’t want to turn different shades of brown for the wedding as I wanted my skin to appear ‘universal’
The shirt had beautiful pastel shades, which as a fashionista in summer will look good whatever you maybe be wearing. I adore the vintage hues of pastel shades which always look feminine. The pink culottes were ideal as they are very floaty which in turn creates more room for your ‘legs to breathe’ in the scorching temperature. I am slowly approaching my wedding, which gives me untold jitters. Marriage doesn’t scare me at all, I have wife mode covered. I can go ‘stepford’ mode pretty quickly if need be.
Despite of that, what about the day itself? All the usual bridal fears and apprehension rises to the surface of achieving unrealistic ‘perfection’. What I had learnt from attending weddings all throughout May (Many friends/family decided to get married in the same month unintentionally) was that situations can arise whereby you can have the perfect setup, yet little mishaps occur where your guests don’t actually notice. I am going to stay positive and just enjoy the best day of my life, it’s been a long time coming after the poisonous frogs I had the fortune of dating. I am heading out to the beautiful La Mamounia and La Riad Yasmine in Morocco, for some girl downtime as a preliminary hen week.
Until next time Mermaids and Mermen.
Carpe Diem,
Sasha
